SUMMARY:Digitalization for facilitating the circular economy in Ukrainian industry based on the European Union experience
DESCRIPTION:The circular economy model is actively implemented in Europe at the current stage of economic development\, taking into account the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and the emergence of new digital opportunities. The current socio-economic system of Ukraine based on linear economy has significant shortcomings in the long term\, which are a threat to energy\, environmental and economic security of the state\, which was also undermined by the Russian-Ukrainian war. As an alternative\, I propose to introduce a circular economy in Ukraine\, relying on the experience of European countries. The project focuses on identifying digital solutions and resources that can increase the effective implementation of the circular economy in the industrial sector of the economy and determine expectations from the development of the digital circular economy in Ukraine. The purpose of the research is to provide a clearer and deeper understanding of the digital solutions for the development of a circular economy in order to set concrete goals for private and public sector initiatives to address raw material shortages\, and to rebuild the Ukrainian economy after Russian-Ukrainian war. In addition\, the results of the project will help to address the global challenges of environmental degradation and climate change.
