Digitalization does not stop at the concept of intimacy. Throughout history, various technological developments have sooner or later been used to build interpersonal relationships or even for sexual gratification. This presentation will provide an overview of technologies that extend the concepts of love and sexuality. These technologies will be embedded in the context of relevant media psychological theories and discussed on the basis of initial empirical study results.
