The HEI-TRAIN project advances an integrated model of institutional transformation by fostering entrepreneurial capacity, digital innovation, and social inclusion across European and Ukrainian higher education institutions. Anchored in the EIT Knowledge Triangle framework, the project responds to urgent post-crisis challenges by embedding AI-driven competencies, inclusive learning pathways, and modular partnership structures within academic ecosystems. The central objective is to design and implement scalable educational and support infrastructures – most notably the International Freelancer School (IFS) – that equip students, women, internally displaced persons, and academic staff with entrepreneurial and digital competencies aligned with Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3). The methodological approach combines curriculum co-creation, micro-credentialing systems, blended training models, and a Common Research Agenda focused on AI-enabled entrepreneurship in post-conflict and transition contexts.
