Teaching Queer Code: On Social Aesthetics in Code-Learning

Symbolbild Kolloquium

Learning to code is shaped by industry-driven infrastructure urging an alternative approach from a critical perspective. We developed a queered online education platform with a zine of readings on (queer_creative) coding principles and their societal implications. We explore a new paradigm for programming course design, the Peri-Digital Learner, that of a student who navigates across the spectrum of the (traditional) digital and the post-digital teaching paradigm.

In the colloquium, our fellows, working group shadows and invited speakers regularly present their research projects. Guests are welcome. For better planning, please send your registration to kolleg@cais-research.de.
