The Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS) participated in today’s exchange between Federal Minister Dr. Karsten Wildberger and the network of Institutes for Digitalization Research (NIfD) at the Weizenbaum Institute. At the 20th European Conference on Technology Enhanced Learning (ECTEL), held from September 15-19, 2025, in Newcastle and Durham, UK, the paper by CAIS researchers Katharina Teich and Prof. Nikol Rummel, together with Conrad Borchers, was awarded the Best Paper Award.
Since 2021, the Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS) has been part of the Network of Institutes for Digitalization Research (in German: Netzwerk der Institute für Digitalisierungsforschung = NIfD). Together with five other institutions, it is committed to independent, interdisciplinary research on digital transformation.
