This year’s conference of the Digital Government Society (dg.o) will take place from 11 to 14 June in Taipei under the motto “Internet of Beings: Transforming Public Governance”. Anne Goldmann will be presenting her research on the German Bundestag in the “Data-Driven Services in Government” track.
In the current discussion about how politics is reacting to the topic of artificial intelligence, many questions about the regulation of AI technologies are at the forefront. Another facet of the discussion that is both theoretically interesting and practically relevant is the question of whether and how politics itself uses AI. In her research paper, Anne Goldmann analyses the rhetoric about and on AI in order to draw initial conclusions about whether and how politicians might use AI-supported results as a basis for argumentation in political debates.
