This paper was written as a follow-up to the conference Jubiläumsnetzwerk 1848/49 “Wie nach 175 Jahren den Meilenstein der Demokratiegeschichte vermitteln?”, an event organised by the Memorial Cemetery of the March Fallen in cooperation with the Bundesarchiv-Erinnerungsstätte für die Freiheitsbewegungen in der deutschen Geschichte, the Historisches Museum Frankfurt and the Kulturregion Frankfurt Rhein-Main.
It deals with the challenges and opportunities of web videos in teaching the history of democracy.
