“Artificial Intelligence – Attribution of Responsibility – Trust”

The lecture bridges the gap between the importance of attributing responsibility as a social practice and the steering of action to secure trust (or at least the expectation of reliability)

The challenge of attributing responsibility through the use of artificial intelligence and the emergence of attribution gaps then leads to the question of whether this problem can be addressed conventionally by assigning new responsibilities or through alternative practices such as the certification of AI applications.
