CAIS team members from research and science communication will speak about the importance of AI in science communication at the annual conference of the “Science Communication” section (DGPuK) 2024 in Zurich. The conference, which will take place on 6 July 2024, aims to connect researchers and practitioners and bring together the latest research findings that evaluate the role of AI in science communication.
Dr Esther Laukötter, together with Mirko Bischofsberger, Dr Jason Pridmore and Prof. Dr Julia Metag, will talk about linking research and practice in science communication in the age of AI. Dr Josephine B. Schmitt, Dr Matthias Begenat, Sandra Kero and Jasmin Baake will give a presentation on the role of generative AI for the future of science communication. Jasmin Baake will hold another panel on AI avatars in science communication together with Dr Josephine B. Schmitt.
