CAIS Researchers at CHI 2026 in Barcelona

From April 13 to 17, 2026, Prof. Dr. Hendrik Heuer and his team from the CAIS research program “Design of Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence” will be presenting at the ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems in Barcelona, Spain.

Researchers from the CAIS research program “Design of Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence” – Prof. Dr. Hendrik Heuer, Dr. Aditya Kumar Purohit, Artur Solomonik, Besjon Cifliku, Jasmin Baake, and Anna Ricarda Luther – are participating in this year’s ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI). In a total of five scientific contributions, they examine how people use and experience artificial intelligence, social media, and digital communication. One of the publications was additionally awarded an Honorable Mention.

Aditya Kumar Purohit, Artur Solomonik, and Besjon Cifliku also attended the event and presented their work.
