CAIS Researchers at EARLI 2025 in Graz

Prof. Dr. Nikol Rummel, Interim Prof. Dr. Sebastian Strauß, and Anna Radtke from the CAIS research program "Educational Technologies and Artificial Intelligence" will be participating in the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI) conference in Graz, Austria, from August 25 to 29, 2025.

22. August 2025

Researchers from the CAIS research program “Educational Technologies and Artificial Intelligence” – Prof. Dr. Nikol Rummel, Interim Prof. Dr. Sebastian Strauß, and Anna Radtke – are taking part in this year’s conference of the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI) in Graz, Austria. Through several symposium contributions, a roundtable discussion, and a poster presentation, they bring current research on educational technologies, collaborative learning, and AI-supported teaching into the international discussion.

This year marks the 40th edition of EARLI, held under the theme “Realising Potentials through Education: Shaping the Minds and Brains for the Future.” The conference explores how education can unlock individual and societal potential – regardless of background or life circumstances – and the role cognitive and neural processes play in lifelong learning. Its aim is to discuss evidence-based and equitable educational practices, grounded in interdisciplinary research, that help learners recognize their strengths and develop talents with a positive impact on their communities.
