This year’s conference theme is: “Changing Media Environments as Facilitators for Learning?”

The focus is on theoretical and empirical work on the role of digital technologies as facilitators or inhibitors of educational processes. In addition to the main topic, general media psychology research papers are also welcome.

The conference offers various formats for submission, including position papers, empirical research reports, posters and a special panel in cooperation with the Journal of Media Psychology (JMP ). Prior to the conference, a PhD workshop will take place on 10 September 2025. Here, young female researchers will have the opportunity to work on their presentation and writing skills as well as receive valuable feedback for their dissertation projects and career planning.
