On 05.09.2022, the lecture: “Digital public sphere and liberal democracy – a challenging relationship” by Anne Goldmann took place at the European Academy Mecklenburg-Vorpommern via Zoom.
The content of the lecture included an overview of different concepts of digitalisation and democracy, a review of “digital” events of the last 10/15 years that have challenged established and young democracies, a discussion on the role of platforms and further development trends using the example of AI.
