Together with Julian Kohne (GESIS), Josephine B. Schmitt and Johannes Breuer have published a volume of the transfer journal easy_social_sciences.
This is a cooperation between CAIS and GESIS and the first of two issues on research on digital transformation. It includes contributions from CAIS researchers such as Matthias Begenat, Samuel Simon, Johannes Breuer and Josephine B. Schmitt.
Below is the summary of the first issue:
Digitalisation research is an exciting and dynamic field that explores the social, political, economic, cultural and technical implications of digitalisation. This issue of easy_social_sciences presents four articles dealing with different aspects of digitisation research, from the conception of relevant research questions to the communication of scientific results. This issue highlights the challenges and opportunities that digitisation brings to research, including how to organise research and deal with new types of data.
