From August 31 to September 3, 2025, the “Mensch und Computer 2025” conference will be held at Technische Universität Chemnitz – the largest European conference on human-computer interaction. It provides participants from academia and industry with a platform for presentations and discussions on innovative forms of interaction between humans and digital technology, human-centered development methods, interactive applications, and other topics at the interface between users and digital technologies. This year’s conference theme is “Digital Diversity.”
Two researchers from the Center for Advanced Internet Studies also contributed to coordinating the conference reviews: Prof. Hendrik Heuer, head of the CAIS research program “Design of Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence,” and Dr. Aditya Kumar Purohit, a research associate in the same program. Both served as Associate Chairs in the lead-up to the conference – Prof. Heuer for full papers and Aditya Kumar Purohit for short papers.
In this role, they were involved in the scientific selection and review process and contributed to quality assurance of the submitted papers. With their professional expertise, they supported the careful evaluation and selection of content, thereby contributing to the scientific excellence of the conference.
