Dr. Astrid Wichmann, science manager in CAIS research program “Educational Technologies and Artificial Intelligence,” gives a workshop on the topic of “Wie lernt der Mensch unter dem Einsatz von KI und was macht das mit unserer Psyche?” (EN: How do humans learn with the use of AI and how does this affect our psyche?) as part of the seminar “Künstliche Intelligenz – Chancen & Risiken für Staat und Gesellschaft” (EN: Artificial Intelligence – Opportunities and Risks for the State and Society). Her presentation discusses the beneficial effects of artificial intelligence on learning in the field of education from a research perspective and beyond the hype. The event will take place at the Arbeitnehmer-Zentrum Königswinter, Germany, on October 25, 2025 and is organized by the Johannes-Albers-Bildungsforum gGmbH.
The seminar will cover the current state of research on the development of artificial intelligence and highlight both its potential and the risks associated with it. The focus will be on a critical examination of the use of AI in key areas of society in terms of its ethics and impact – from education and private life to military use.
