In autumn 2022, Samuel Simon (CAIS) started a collaboration with the Deutsche Telekom Foundation and researchers from the Ruhr University Bochum on the use of design thinking in schools.
In the first phase of the project, the training of teachers on the use of the game MoonshotEDU in the classroom will be evaluated. MoonshotEDU is an innovation game that was explicitly developed for use in school and non-school learning contexts. The innovation process can be experienced in a playful way. Individual players or teams compete against each other to master various challenges. Different creativity techniques are used.
In the second phase of the project, starting in April 2023, the use of the innovation game in school and extracurricular learning formats will be researched and special attention will be paid to the effects on the creative actions of students.
