From November 5 to 7, 2025, the partners of the international HEI-TRAIN project will gather at CAIS in Bochum. Researchers, educators, and representatives from business and innovation promotion from Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, and Ukraine will come together to discuss how innovation and entrepreneurial thinking can be integrated into higher education. CAIS researcher Dr. Tetiana Gorokhova, a member of the international HEI-TRAIN consortium, will coordinate the meeting in Bochum.
Universities as Engines of Innovation
The meeting will focus on three key topics: integrating innovation and entrepreneurship into everyday university life, building sustainable ecosystems between academia, research, and industry, and connecting education and research with digital and AI-driven innovation. A special emphasis will be placed on HEInnovate tools, which support universities in systematically developing their strategies – from leadership and governance to collaboration and societal engagement. The meeting at CAIS marks an important step in advancing joint strategies and initiatives to strengthen entrepreneurial culture and innovation capacity in higher education.
