On 6 November 2025, the virtual DigiMeet 2025 took place, organized by bidt, CAIS, Hans-Bredow-Institut, and Weizenbaum-Institut. More than 60 international PhD students and postdoctoral researchers participated to discuss the topic “Platform Governance & Power: Between control, ethics and societal dynamics.”

The aim of DigiMeet 2025 was to explore the latest developments in global platform governance – particularly power relations, societal effects, and technological innovations. Across four sessions, researchers presented a total of 16 talks on issues related to regulation, artificial intelligence, networks, and platform mechanisms.

The DigiMeet 2025 report (in German) provides detailed insights into the topics covered, highlights, and key findings of the event.
