At the interdisciplinary conference “transformativ” on artificial intelligence, ethics, and society, which takes place in Heilbronn from December 4 to 6, 2025, Dr. Alisa Maksimova, postdoctoral researcher in the CAIS research program “Educational Technologies and Artificial Intelligence,” presents findings from her joint work with Prof. Dr. Nikol Rummel, research professor and head of the research program, and Valentina Nachtigall, postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Educational Science at Ruhr University Bochum. Paula Weitz, officer for science communication and press work at CAIS, also presents a contribution. In one session on AI perceptions in museums and one problem pitch on AI-supported target group definition, they contribute perspectives from the fields of educational technologies and science communication to the discourse on handling AI.
The interdisciplinary conference “transformativ” addresses the question of how artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing our society and what effects this will have on our coexistence, our communication, and our actions. For this discourse, the conference brings together experts from research, education, science communication, media, and art with the aim of developing communication, competence, and action strategies that provide guidance in dealing with AI. The experts will share their perspectives in various formats.
