On May 16 and 17, 2025, the second Bergische Expo will take place in downtown Wuppertal. Around 55 exhibitors from the fields of commerce, industry, services, and local institutions will present themselves as forward-looking employers and engage in dialogue with skilled professionals, trainees, and students.
On the stage at Oberer Döppersberg, CAIS researcher Prof. Hendrik Heuer will give a short talk on Friday, May 16, at 3:45 PM. His talk, “Why Disinformation Remains a Problem – and What We Can Do About It,” addresses the ongoing challenges posed by targeted disinformation and highlights what science and society can do to counter it.
The Bergische Expo is organized by the Bergische Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) and IG 1 – the interest group of Elberfeld’s business community – in cooperation with Wuppertal Marketing GmbH. Patrons of the event include the mayors of Wuppertal, Solingen, and Remscheid as well as the president of the Bergische IHK.
