Dr Astrid Wichmann will give a presentation on “AI in the classroom: opportunities and challenges of AI-supported learning” at the RWI’s “Ökonomie Hautnah 2024” event. The event will take place on 25 June 2024 at the Haus der Technik in Essen and offers a platform for exchanging views on current economic policy and social issues.
In her workshop, Dr Astrid Wichmann will highlight the various possible applications of artificial intelligence in education and discuss the associated opportunities and challenges. Among other things, she will focus on how AI-supported learning systems can improve individualised support for pupils as well as the ethical and practical issues arising from the use of AI in the classroom.
