As part of the “One ZDF for all” strategy process, the Director General of ZDF, Dr Norbert Himmler, hosted a workshop discussion at the ZDF broadcasting centre in Mainz on 27 November 2024. The strategy process aims to future-proof ZDF as a public broadcaster and address both programming and technological challenges.
Prof Hendrik Heuer took part in the event, at which ZDF discussed current initiatives such as the ARD and ZDF streaming network and the media library with its recommendation systems.
The aim of the event was to gather feedback on these projects and discuss innovative approaches in order to strengthen the dialogue with social groups and address the audience.
