At SLU in Uppsala, CAIS researcher Dr. Tetiana Gorokhova is testing concrete strategies for resilient and trauma-sensitive teaching together with international SAFE LEARN partners. The program includes neuroeducation, the design of learning activities according to the SAFE LEARN model, as well as hands-on work with audio and video materials.
The Federal Ministry for Research, Technology, and Space is funding eleven new projects to combat disinformation, including ClaimGuard by CAIS researcher Prof. Hendrik Heuer, which supports citizens in verifying information.
The European project HEI-TRAIN successfully completed the first phase of the EIT initiative and received official confirmation for the second phase.
In February, international partners met at CAIS to deepen cooperation on AI mindset, responsible digital education, and student wellbeing in times of crisis.
Dr. Tetiana Gorokhova participated in the launch of the SAFE LEARN project (Supporting Adaptive and Flexible Education for War-Affected Students in Ukraine). The kick-off meeting took place from January 12 to 13, 2026, at the Public Security Academy of Mykolas Romeris University in Lithuania.
