Christiane Eilders

In a series of surveys, Christiane Eilders, together with her collaborator Olaf Jandura from the Department of Economics at Hochschule Düsseldorf, examines whether political-communicative milieus develop differently over a period of ten years. Are there winners and losers of societal changes? How do the milieus change in terms of their size, value orientations, identity, attitudes, and media use? The relationship between political attitudes and the use of journalistic and social media suggests that digital media environments influence this dynamic. The current data were collected shortly before the last federal election at the end of 2024.
