Which projects are possible?

We are happy to support you in finding researchers in digitization research for joint applications, research projects, the preparation of expert reports, publications or participation in scientific studies.

What are the disciplinary backgrounds of the researchers at CAIS?

CAIS is an interdisciplinary research institute for digitization research. So far, we have researchers with predominantly social science and humanities backgrounds, as well as psychologists and people with technical backgrounds.

I am looking for researchers, however I do not have a scientific background myself. Is a partnership with practice also conceivable?

At CAIS, productive exchange with culture, politics, business and civil society is very important to us. We would like to help shape society with our research. That’s why we are also happy to arrange contacts for projects that lie outside the realm of science or are geared toward practical results

Our International Fellows conduct research on digitization topics from very different perspectives. Find a suitable research project here.

What information does CAIS need from you?

In order to be able to respond as well as possible to your inquiry and to establish contact with researchers at CAIS, we ask you to address the following questions in your inquiry:

  • What kind of project (e.g. proposal, publication, expert opinion) are you planning?
  • What is the topic?
  • Who are you looking for?
  • What kind of support are you looking for?
  • What is the time frame?
