Hendrik Heuer is a research professor at CAIS. He heads the research programme Design of Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence. His research focusses on the following topics:
- Trust in artificial intelligence through understanding, control and co-design
- Participatory software development for machine learning
- Combating misinformation and disinformation
