Hendrik Heuer is a research professor at CAIS. He heads the research programme Design of Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence. His research focusses on the following topics:

  • Trust in artificial intelligence through understanding, control and co-design
  • Participatory software development for machine learning
  • Combating misinformation and disinformation
