Tetyana Oleksiyuk Bild

Tetyana Oleksiyuk is a CAIS guest researcher, international expert, and policy adviser in access to information legislation. In 2022 Tetyana was elected as the member and the Vice-President of the Council of Europe Access Info Group (the Group of Specialists under the Council of Europe Convention on Access to Official Documents). Tetyana’s research in CAIS focuses on digitalization in access to official information and data governance. Her research interests also include freedom of information standards and progress in Sustainable Development Goals via access to official data.

Curriculum Vitae

  • Since May 2022: CAIS fellow and guest researcher
  • Since March 2022: the member and the Vice-President of the Council of Europe Access Info Group (the Group of Specialists under the Council of Europe Convention on Access to Official Documents).
  • Since June 2018: policy adviser for the main stakeholders of access to information sphere in Ukraine (Parliament, Ombudsperson, Ministries and Supreme Court of Ukraine), Council of Europe and UNDP Ukraine expert in access to information and open data regulations,
  • Since 2015: Head of the Strategic Litigation Department at Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law, NGO, and practicing attorney, member of the Committee on Media Legislation under the Ukrainian Bar Association
