Tim Pfenner is the Executive Director of the Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS) GmbH together with the Scientific Director. He heads the administration of CAIS and is responsible for the areas of human resources, law and finance. He is playing a leading role in the conception of an institute for digitisation research.
Curriculum vitae
- Tim Pfenner is a lawyer and lecturer at the University of Police and Public Administration NRW, where he teaches police and regulatory law as well as European law.
- From 2016 to 2017, he was a research assistant at the Ruhr University Bochum at the Centre for International Affairs of the Faculty of Law.
- in 2017, he was a Guest Lecturer at the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon.
- He completed his legal traineeship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Hamm. As part of his legal traineeship, he completed a supplementary course in administrative sciences at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer.
- in 2015, he passed the second state law examination at the Landesjustizprüfungsamt NRW.
- From 2008 to 2013, he studied law at the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster. As part of his studies, he completed a subject-specific foreign language training (English). in 2013, he passed the first state law examination.
