This workshop seeks to explore the interplay between storytelling, digital cultures, and representation of communities, identities and cultures within the dynamic context of Northeast India. In a time where digital platforms increasingly wield significant influence over narratives, there arises a need to deliberate the potentials and ramifications of digital platforms particularly with regard to visibilization and reclamation of voices, issues and stories of marginalized communities. The aim is to critically engage and delineate the various nuances of narratives surrounding communities, identities, marginalities, and representation as they are mediated within an evolving digital landscape and culture, in the context of Northeast India.
