Interdisciplinary work is difficult: scientists from different disciplines each have different problems, use different terminology, follow different approaches and have different criteria for what constitutes a good solution. To get a better understanding of how scientists from different disciplines think and work, this workshop series briefly dives into each of the 4 disciplines. In separate 2-hour workshops, leading researchers from sociology, philosophy, law and computer science will present the origins, methods, quality criteria and typical problems as well as canonical approaches of their discipline.
