CAIS at the Digitalization Working Group of the Städtetag NRW

At the March 2026 meeting of the Digitalization Working Group of the Städtetag NRW at ZenDiS in Bochum, questions of digital sovereignty were at the forefront. In this context, CAIS researchers Prof. Tim Majchrzak and Prof. Christoph Bieber were invited on March 24, 2026, to give an impulse lecture on the transformation of digital democratic discourses, providing insights into CAIS research.

Symposium on AI in Science Communication

CAIS researcher Jasmin Baake, from the research program “Design of Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence” will join the panel discussion on AI-supported science communication, focusing on perception, knowledge acquisition, and credibility.

Training Week at SLU in Uppsala

At SLU in Uppsala, CAIS researcher Dr. Tetiana Gorokhova is testing concrete strategies for resilient and trauma-sensitive teaching together with international SAFE LEARN partners. The program includes neuroeducation, the design of learning activities according to the SAFE LEARN model, as well as hands-on work with audio and video materials.

Conference Session for the Publication of the OECD Digital Education Outlook 2026

As part of the online conference for the publication of the OECD Digital Education Outlook 2026, Prof. Nikol Rummel and Dr. Sebastian Strauß from the CAIS research program BKI will present their contribution “Fostering collaborative learning and promoting collaboration skills: What generative AI could contribute” on Tuesday, 24 March 2026, from 5 to 6 PM.
